Collegiate work by academia: recovering the pedagogical sense
Abstract
This article presents a descriptive-argumentative analysis on how the teachers of a Technological High School recover the pedagogical sense of collegiate work through the academic modality in a context where there is institutional pressure to comply with the administrative in accordance with the current regulations. Emphasis is placed on the characteristics of the collegiate work that is developed in the institution, as well as the alternatives that teachers have implemented outside the institutional organization to recover the pedagogical sense of the collegiate work by academies to face the instrumentalization to which they have submitted to collegiality by the educational authorities. In this vein, the objective of the research is to understand how the academies recover the pedagogical sense of collegiate work in the instrumentalized institutional context. This analysis is carried out from the theoretical review, the experiences, the previous knowledge and the discussions raised during the research process, as well as the empirical information obtained, through the in-depth interviews applied to some teachers. As part of the conclusions, it is established that the recovery of the pedagogical sense of collegiate work has been through work in academia, regardless of the fact that the contextual and institutional conditions exert pressure for compliance with the administrative, for which the teachers they have implemented strategies beyond the institutional organization to work on academics.
